The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a beautiful garden, perfect for family activities. It's only a 2-minute walk to the incredible 12km-long beach promenade, offering endless opportunities for seaside fun.
My kids wished for a larger swimming pool for more splashing fun.

Great central location, rooms aged but still comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, best we had while in Croatia!

Great breakfast and friendly bar staff. the food was fine and there were a few choices available. the hotel is located just a few minutes from the beach and the promenade, making it convenient for enjoying the seaside activities.
The hotel urgently needs renovation. the interior is outdated and shows signs of wear and tear.

A good location only 50metres from the public transport from Rijeke. Nice views and beautiful 19th century construction
The management allowed a loud rock band to continue practising in a lower room till 2320 till I had to complain a second time. The service staff were very good but management leaves room for improvement. Hopefully this was a one off incident and will not occur again. Due to my bad experience and lack of sleep at this place, I would hesitate to advise anyone else to stay without asking questions.

Great location and beautiful grounds. The hotel is conveniently located near the sea-front promenade, just a few steps away. The surroundings are picturesque and ideal for a leisurely walk.

Hotel staff is extremelly friendly and helpfull. We were there with 6-month old baby and they let us stay a bit longer after last check-out time without any problems. Hotel is beautifull. You can almost imagine royalty walking through large hallways with high healings. It was warm in the room and breakfast is as good as in the four star hotels. I am sure to be back as their guest.

Sufficient capacity, also for parking. Easy access from the main street through Opatia
The hotel lacks wireless internet in the rooms. The computers provided in the lobby is not dependable and useless for a business traveller

My stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The overall feeling of the hotel was super good and the park in front of it was jaw-droppingly beautiful. The view from the terrace and our balcony was breathtaking. The rooms, while basic, were large enough and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were incredibly flexible and accommodating. Although there was no fridge in the room, the reception helped us with chilling down our refreshments without any problem. The breakfast was surprisingly good for a 2-star hotel. They had a great selection of pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, eggs. The free wi-fi worked really well and it was really convenient to have a car park available. I also enjoyed spending time in the bar/lounge area. The hotel restaurant had delicious food and the swimming pool was a GREAT place to relax. The lift was also very convenient, especially since we were on a higher floor. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Great location, if a little bit difficult to find our way in (driveway next to the bus terminal). Nice landscaping, a good feel around the hotel itself. Very easy access to walk along the water and reach the local restaurant strip. Great buffet breakfast (one of the best we found in our stay in Croatia). We had a double room, but that unfortunately consistend two single beds pushed together, which made our sleep less comfortable. We were only in town for one night, but i would recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and main shopping street, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel's pool is fantastic - a good size and salt-treated, which is a nice change from chlorine. Plus, there are plenty of towels and a lovely sun terrace for relaxing. The staff at the reception were friendly and spoke good English, always ready to help with any questions or requests.
The rooms could use some updating, as the furniture and equipment are a bit dated. The WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, only in the public spaces.

central location, good breakfast
you need to pay extra for parking on the hotel grounds, but the parking lot is small, narrow and confusing - had to drive back couple hundred meters up hill backwards because it was not clear that the path I took was the exit. the room has not seen renovation since last century for sure, the windows were with the holes in them so got really cold at night. and the elevator was really scary - old and "decorated" with all sorts of writing and painting by unnamed hotel guests
